Skin manifestations in children with inborn errors of immunity in a tertiary care hospital in Iran

Objectives Inborn errors of immunity (IEIs) are monogenic diseases the immune system. Despite increasing genetic advancements, diagnosis IEIs still lean on clinical diagnosis. Dermatological manifestations observed in a large number IEI patients and can lead to proper approach prompt intervention. Methods This cross-sectional study was carried out between 2018 2020 at Children's tertiary care center Tehran, Iran. Demographic details age onset symptoms were recorded. Results Overall, 212 included. Cutaneous findings reported 95 (44.8%) patients, 61 (64.2%) skin lesions as first presentation. Skin infection (69, 72.6%) most frequent cutaneous manifestation, followed by eczematous rash (24, 25%).
